RentMath (“we”, “the site”) is built to collect as little information as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.

What you enter stays on your device

The calculators work inside your web browser. The rent, dates and other details you type are not sent to our servers, not stored by us and not shared with anyone. When you close or refresh the page, they are gone.

What we do not do

• We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address or payment details.
• We do not use cookies or similar technologies, and we do not store anything in your browser.
• We do not use advertising or analytics services on the site today.
• We do not sell your information.

Technical information from hosting

The site is hosted by Google Firebase Hosting. Like most web hosts, it may keep standard technical records of requests, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems. We do not use these records to identify you.

If you email us

If you write to info@rentmath.ca, we receive your email address and what you send. We use it only to reply and to improve the site, and we do not share it.

Links to other websites

The site links to government and other websites. They have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes how it handles information, for example by adding analytics or advertising, we will update this page before the change takes effect and change the date at the top.
